Collect 2012 – Nati per riflettere / Born to Reflect
Con Giovanni Corvaja si sa che le sorprese non finiscono mai. Questa volta il mago alchimista ci tira fuori lo smalto su platino. Pare che sia qualcosa di tecnicamente, a dir poco, insolito. Il risultato dell’incontro tra questo metallo e il vetro è un effetto riflettente a specchio poiché – se ho capito bene – i due elementi non si “uniscono” perfettamente come invece accade allo smalto sull’oro. Nella foto ci sono orecchini e gemelli in primo piano.

The result of this metal meeting glass has the reflective quality of a mirror because – if I understand it correctly – the two elements do not “unite” perfectly as it happens with enamel on gold.
