Parlando di giraffa, eccola qui che spunta e torna da un viaggio. È lei che governa la spilla di Robert Baines artista orafo australiano e alle volte si fa accompagnare pure dai cangurini.
Speaking of giraffes… here she comes now, returning from a trip. She dominates the brooch by Robert Baines, the Australian artist and jewellery maker, and she’s also sometimes in the company of little kangaroos.

So per certo che è di ritorno a casa da un viaggio perché fa parte di una mostra triplice dal titolo Returning to the jewel is a return from exile. Il trio è composto da Robert Baines appunto, Karl Fritsch e Gerd Rothmann, orafi di fama internazionale. I know for sure that she has just come back home from a trip because the brooch is part of a triple exhibit named: Returning to the jewel is a return from exile. The trio is composed of Robert Baines, Karl Fritsch and Gerd Rothmann, all world renown jewellery makers.

E quando il gioiello torna lo fa alla grande in una casa come si deve, per meglio dire in una reggia, ovvero nella antica residenza dei monarchi Bavaresi di Monaco. Il progetto realizzato con una prima mostra nel 2009 è un’idea della gallerista Olga Zobel. Credo che questa sia la quinta edizione poiché nel frattempo la mostra è stata anche in Australia al TarraWarra Museum of Art. When jewellery returns, it does so in great style, in a gentry house or even better, in a royal palace, that is; the ancient residence of the Kings of Bavaria in Munich. The project began with an exhibit in 2009 and was the idea of the art dealer, Olga Zobel. I think this is the fifth edition of the exhibit because it was also shown in Australia at the TarraWarra Museum of Art.
