Qui a Monaco tutti o quasi presentano in gruppo, per nazionalità, sesso, affinità o contrasti. Vi voglio mostrare qualche immagine di due presentazioni collettive tutte al femminile.
Here in Munich almost all the artists exhibit their work in groups organized by nationality, gender, similarities, or differences. I would like to show you some images of two collective presentations, all by females.
Francisca Bauzá
Pin up è il titolo della mostra di 5 giovani artiste Lisa Björke, Francisca Bauzá, Märta Mattsson, Deborah Rudolph e Nina Sajet. Pin up soprattutto a causa delle spillette da collezionare e da attaccare un po’ ovunque che le 5 ragazze hanno deciso di realizzare e vendere durante la mostra come forma di autofinanziamento. 5 spillette, ognuna riproduce l’immagine di un gioiello-simbolo di ogni artista (io ho comprato per 1 euro quella di Märta Mattsson vincitrice del premio Talente). Pin Up is the title given to the exhibit by five young artists; Lisa Björke, Francisca Bauzá, Märta Mattsson, Deborah Rudolph and Nina Sajet. The name Pin Up is especially appropriate because the five young women have decided to make and sell tiny collectable pins during the show as a form of self-financing. These pins are such that they can be stuck here, there, or anywhere. There are five different pin designs, each one representing an individual artist of the group. I bought the pin by Märta Mattsson, the winner of the Talente prize, for one euro.
Pins anche sui dolcetti della merenda!
Ma le pins sono solo oggettini a latere della mostra che mi ha dato modo di apprezzare le collanone di perle di porcellana di Nina Sajet, quelle di grandi fiori di smalto di Francisca Bauzá e di vedere meglio il lavoro della Mattsson tra cui la spilla dell’uccellino sbadato che finisce contro il muro! The pins were the objects that also gave me the opportunity to appreciate other pieces like the large porcelain-pearl necklace made by Sajet Nina, the large enamel flowered necklace by Francisca Bauzá and also I had the opportunity to examine more carefully the pieces by Märta Mattsson, among which I found a pin with a little bird so inattentive that he flies into a wall!
Märta Mattsson
Un trio femminile ha deciso di presentare i lavori su assi inclinate dall’effetto scenografico – da cui il titolo della mostra slanted for granted. A female trio has decided to exhibit their work on slanted boards giving it a scenographic effect – hence the title Slanted for granted.
Despo Sophocleous, ultimi lavori
Abbiamo la regina delle “impalcature instabili” Despo Sophocleous (premio Hofmann 2012) con le sue collane in legno che sono tutte un movimento, ma anche quelle nuovissime datate 2012 in rame, dal titolo somewhere in-between two. The queen of “unstable structures”, Despo Sophocleus, (Hofmann Prize 2012), displays her wood necklaces that are all in motion along with the newest ones from 2012 in copper named, Somewhere-in-between-two.
Nicole Beck
Con lei c’è Nicole Beck con un bel lavoro sul tessuto, soprattutto, e Melanie Isverding che unisce acciaio con pirite o quarzo fumé o ematite o granato polverizzati sulla superficie interna e non visibile del metallo. With her is Nicole Beck and her beautiful work in fabric, and Melanie Isverding who uses steel with either, pyrite or smoky quartz or hematite or garnet, pulverized on the metal’s internal surface which is not visible.
