Onomatopee di latta / Onomatopoeias made of tin

united kingdom Well, I gave you some hints, a few clues for a quick research on Wikipedia (the most savvy will forgive me for my limited means). I don’t want to reveal more, or the final effect might be ruined. But I cannot hide the fact that it all comes from the artist Monica Cecchi, winner of this year’s Cominelli Award thanks to the brooch you see in the photo. I can also tell you that her pantry is full of tin boxes – those vintage ones that her grandmother liked and that have now become her colour palette. And that there also is her passion for Tom Wolfe, a writer and a juggler of sounds and words. And also a friend’s telephone call, a good news and a flash of a word on a wall. Olé!
