A Parigi, giovani creatori: pronti, partenza… via!
Fotografati qualche giorno fa felici e sorridenti nella sala 12 Drouot eccovi i sei vincitori del Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d’Art 2015. Cominciate a guardarli perché poi li ritroverete di volta in volta, secondo la categoria di appartenenza, ospiti dei più grandi saloni di settore qui a Parigi: dal 4 all’8 settembre con Maison&Objets, poi a Révélation al Grand Palais (10-13 settembre) e per il Salon International du patrimoine culturel dal 5 all’8 novembre.

Have a good look at them because you will find them as guests in the most famous exhibition halls in Paris: from the 4th to the 8th September at Maison&Objets, at the Révélation in the Grand Palais (10th-13th September) and at the Salon International du patrimoine culturel from the 5th to the 8th November.

Sono tutti giovani appunto, sotto i 35 anni, come prevede il regolamento del premio che è attribuito dall’organizzazione professionale dei “métiers d’art” Ateliers d’Art che raggruppa più di 6.000 artisti-artigiani di Francia. As the rules require, they are all under 35 and the prize is awarded by the professional order of the “métiers d’art” Ateliers d’Art that reunites more than 6.000 artists-craftsmen from all over France.

I nostri sei vincitori rappresentano quindi i vari mestieri d’arte. Di tutti loro quello che conoscete sicuramente perché ne ho parlato più volte nel blog è Sébastien Carré, artista di gioiello contemporaneo che sarà ospite al Grand Palais nella categoria dei creatori di “pezzi unici”. Con lui ci sarà Kaori Kurihara – ceramista e anche creatrice di gioielli, in realtà – che realizza immaginari frutti esotici e fantastici e Xavier Noël, scultore e esperto della doratura su legno, tecnica che utilizza in modo non “ortodosso” per animare personaggi tribali ironici e trasgressivi che mi ricordano un po’ gli esseri danzanti di Nick Cave. So, these six winners truly represent the various art crafts. Amongst them, you will surely remember Sébastien Carré, a contemporary jewellery artist who will attend as a guest the creator of “unique pieces” category at the Grand Palais, and of whom I have often spoken in my blog. Together with him is Kaori Kurihara – ceramist and jewellery designer – that creates imaginary and fantastic exotic fruits, and Xavier Noël, sculptor and expert of wood gilding, a technique that he uses “unorthodoxically” to give life to tribal iconic and transgressive characters that remind me of Nick Cave’s dancing creatures.

Molto interessante il lavoro di Julie Auzillon specialista della rilegatura e appassionata della creazione con la carta. Realizza uno ad uno preziosi carnet reinterpretando in modo personale tecniche giapponesi di piegatura, colorazione e intaglio. Sarà al Carrousel du Louvre a novembre al salone dedicato al patrimonio culturale. Julie Auzillon’s work is also very interesting – she is a specialist in binding and a passionate of paper creations. One by one she creates precious booklets giving a personal interpretation of the Japanese bending, staining and carving techniques. In November she will attend the Carrousel du Louvre in the hall dedicated to cultural heritage.

Sarà con lei anche Anne-Laure Collomb, che si esprime nell’arte della tessitura come in una sorta di scrittura personale; la stola impalpabile che pubblico qui sotto si chiama Yuzuru ed è ispirata all’omonimo racconto giapponese La gru del crepuscolo. Anne-Laure Collomb will also attend the event. She expresses herself through the art of weaving as if it were her personal writing; the weightless cloak here below is called Yuzuru (The Twilight crane) and takes inspiration from the Japanese tale that goes by the same title.

Ma la prima che avrete l’occasione di vedere al celebre salone Maison&Objets i primi di settembre è Morgane Baroghel-Crucq, designer tessile che si cimenta sul tema della leggerezza e dell’impalbilità del tessuto utilizzando materiali insoliti come l’inox e l’alluminio o ancora ricerca la morbidezza della pelliccia partendo dal filo di viscosa. The first artist who you will be able to see at the Maison&Objects event at the beginning of September will be Morgane Baroghel-Crucq, a textile designer who focuses on the theme of delicacy and etherealness of textile using unusual materials such as steel and aluminum or by recreating the softness of a fur with viscose.
