Gnam… che bello!
Ancora non vi ho parlato del Museo del Gioiello con le sue nove sale tematiche che si è inaugurato a dicembre 2014 nella Basilica Palladiana di Vicenza. E ancora non è il momento perché aspetto di andarlo a visitare di persona per poi raccontarvi la mia esperienza dal vivo. Quindi della serie “sarà per la prossima volta”.
Wow, this is… yummy!I still haven’t talked about the Jewellery Museum and its nine thematic halls which was inaugurated in December 2014 in the Palladian Basilica in Vicenza. And I won’t this time either because before writing about it I want to visit it personally in order to give you my first-hand experience. Maybe next time…!

Ora invece colgo l’occasione per segnalavi che all’interno del museo, come mostra temporanea apre il 16 luglio Gioielli in Tavola, che è, inutile dirlo, nell’area dell’influenza tematica dell’Expo di Milano di nutrire il Pianeta. Nevertheless, I want to recommend the temporary exhibition Food Jewellery that will be inaugurated on the 16th of July inside the Museum and that will be held in the halls dedicated to the Milan Expo theme “Feed the planet”.

I gioielli sono 150 e traggono ispirazione dal cibo e spesso sono anche realizzati con alimenti (pasta, cristalli di zucchero, cioccolata…). Non possono certo mancare le creazioni di Barbara Uderzo (pioniera del “gioiello da mangiare”), Annamaria Zanella, Gaetano Pesce. There are 150 jewels which draw inspiration by food and that are often made with edibles (pasta, sugar crystals, chocolate…). The creations by Barbara Uderzo (pioneer of the “edible jewellery”), Annamaia Zanella and Gaetano Pesce will obviously be there.

La mostra, curata da Livia Tenuta e Viola Chiara Vecchi oltre naturalmente al direttore del museo Alba Cappellieri, si chiude il 31 agosto. The exhibition, curated by Livia Tenuta and Viola Chiara Vecchi and obviously the museum director Alba Cappellieri, will end on the 31st of August.
