Il fascino sta nel vuoto che lasciano attorno alla materia. Strutture ben congegnate piene di spifferi e di leggerezza sono i bracciali a flusso continuo di Huyn Sook Chang (Corea), i collari di Sam Tho Duong (Vietnam), gli intrecci nuovissimi della magica Kazumi Nagano o i cocoon di Makoto Hieda (entrambi giapponesi). Ma anche gli alveari parlanti di Luzia Vogt (Svizzera) e i “buchi con la spilla intorno” di Silke Trekel (Germania).
The charm is found in the void they leave around the material. Well- designed structures full of drafts through which the air flows freely; bracelets in continuous flux by Huyn Sook Chang, collars by Sam Tho Duong, the newest woven works by the magical Kazumi Nakano, and the cocoons by Makoto Hieda. There are also talking beehives by Luzia Vogt and the “holes surrounded by a broche” by Silke Trekel.
